Celebrating in Unity!
Our team of missionaries at Abundant Life Global Outreach gathered to enjoy a “Family Dinner” at the Ascend Clay Apartments clubhouse. Pastor Scott’s vision of not only strengthening in discipleship, but also in unity with each other was the focus of the event! We enjoyed a delicious meal of smoked and pulled pork, BBQ beans, homemade potato salad, Hawaiian rolls, and the desserts were homemade banana pudding and bundt cake!
There were activities to enjoy around the clubhouse from a Pac-Man arcade game to a giant Connect Four… but most of all we enjoyed catching up with each other and enjoying laughter. Pastor Scott had us gather in the sitting room for a devotion, a discussion about our upcoming mission trip to Mexico, as well as vision-casting for future trips.
We finished by going around and giving everyone an opportunity to express thankfulness to God for all He’s done for each of us. it was a beautiful fellowship!
